Theres a junkyard employee near me who owns a 250. I've never seen one of these before. Is it a Euro or did someone switch a badge from somewhere? It's in decent shape but needs a paint job. Grey sedan with blue interior. No idea of the mileage.

A 250 is a euro model and it is not a very common model.

Very cool. My GF had been seeing one on the road here. Going up RT 395. She told me it's a 250 - I said I've never seen one, are you sure? - She snapped a pic of it on the highway. She confirmed the next day when she saw it again!

Sorry, a bit blurry, but you can still tell how nice it's looking going down the road!

The W123-250 has a six-cylinder carburettor gas engine. About the same performance as the 230E with M102 engine, but with higher fuel consumption. A 250T and 250 Long were also available and a chassis, so coach builders could built ambulances and hearses. The M123 engine was perfect for those purposes, because it ran smoothly and had good power at low rpm.

The W114-250 had different engines (M114 or M130), the W123 had the new M123 engine.

Top speed about 115 mph (185 km/h) and 0-60 mph in about 11 seconds.

What part of Maryland is he in? I might go look at it next weekend. Is he selling the whole car or is he parting it out?

If he's parting it out... I need the vacuum headlamp level switch... ;)
Do you mean the little thumbwheel thing? I think I have a couple of those... PM me if that's what you mean.

It's Crazy Rays up in Mt Airy. Take 495 to 270 then exit 16 to Rt 27. Follow that for about a half an hour. And its on the North side of town.

He's still driving it. So I'd say no. I haven't been able to talk to him yet. It being for sale was something I was told by one of his coworkers.

EDIT: And just to let you guys know there were only 3 W123s (two 240Ds and one 300D) two W126s and two 500SELs. No Euros.
