Hi guys

Ive got a 1976 280sl and im finding it hard to get engine parts for it here in Australia.

I've found a w116 1975 280se that runs well. Im no mechanic but it all looks the same to me. Would it be possible to use the M110 engine parts in the w116 on my w107? Things like the distributor, module etc?

Thanks

Welcome to BW107. If you take a look in the "Info" section of the EGv107 you'll find a link to the Electronic Parts Catalog. You can compare part numbers.

:surrender: Oops. I missed the locale.

I see no particular reason for parts not to be interchangeable. Compare the parts numbers, a lot of them are inscribed on the actual parts. Same part numbers are definitely usable. Engines of the same designation and denominations are model independent even now.

Should you need a EPC access, please feel free to PM me as I do have access.
