Quick question…

All four windows on my 79 300SD have simultaneously stopped working. All fuses are fine. I have seen a couple posts elsewhere on this exact problem pointing to a “failed relay“ that powers all four windows. (I have not yet found anything else that doesn’t work- and the car does not have a sunroof) Unfortunately none of these posts revealed where this mysterious relay actually resides…

Can anyone give me the location of this relay?…

Its one of these 2 silver relays in the fuse box , it should have it labled on the paper card in fuse box lid

Unfortunately there are no relays located inside the W116 79 300SD hood fuse box...only fuses!

Power window relay located in the left hand kick panel area.

Lots of good W116 info at the very active w116.org forum including the FSM (Service Manual Library)
