Does anyone know if the Euro style headlights were made in both left and right hand drive versions and if so how can u tell?? I want to put them on my 72 250C but need to find some first. Also do the just swap over or is there some wiring adjusting necessary??

Thanks,
Brandon

I have the LHD lights in my 71 250C I'm restoring now. Got the lights in the states and found the LHD lens in Germany. Here is pics of mine showing the difference , the triangle shaped area in the middle of the lens.

LHD has the lens pattern to the right hand side of the road to light up the road signs.

These are the right hand lens. lens pattern to the left.

Where can I buy these for a 71 250C?
Thank you.
I got my H4 HELLA lights off of ebay. They are rather high priced but well worth it. I was hoping to find some green lens for the bottom to give it that French look!

Thank you, keep me posted.

What would be cool if one can install HID in these headlights and have LED's for the front turn signals and full LED back. N I C E.
Is there such thing available?

Shouldn't be that hard. Buy the bulb design you like best, then get a spare normal taillight. Cut (if needed) the interior housing to best fit the new lighting. Use the normal taillight lense to prevent any water getting in.

If you go to LED turn signals you will probably need to do some electrical wiring on the flasher circuit. LED lights do not pull enough current to properly activate the mechanical style unit you have.

i can take care of the interior and add capacitor to match the voltage resistance.
What i don't know is where to get clear back lenses like these.
