Don't go cheap - I did and it was a big mistake - you want to spend bananas you'll get monkeys. Get it done right the first time you'll be much happier. Trust Me.

I was intending on having my seats recovered on my 1971 280SEL. Sure is damn expensive. just wondering if any other seats from a different model will bolt up and work?

look at www.uphoulstery(dot)com. I've bought two interiors through them and was pleased by the price and quality. Good stuff!

IT iis a necessity to replace the seat pads also.
