Hi Y'all,
I'm trying to get ready for a car show this Saturday and am in mid belt/hose change. All done except for the %@$# power steering pump belt. Does anybody know how to loosen the pump to get the belt on? Car is a '70 280S.
Thank you

There are a few bolts holding the 'frame' on the engine that need to be loosened. The pump itself sits inside this frame. There is also a threaded rod sticking out the right side of the frame with a lock nut. That is the adjuster.

That complete arrangement is a Rube Goldberg affair, IMHO.
