Mercedes Benz sells the "107 Service Manual Library" that covers all the US SL's. it's pretty good but not as explanatory as the Haynes. Call MBUSA and order by phone. Also you can get it at mercedesshop.com. They have a great forum there too.<p>

Is there a manual for the 280 SL Euro

What source would I use to get a manual that covers the 1983 280 SL Euro?

Mercedes Benz has the manuals.

The chassis manual suits ALL 107's, then you just need to get an M110 engine manual.

There is no one manual for 450SL or 380SL or 280SL etc, they are chassis manual (2 volume) engine manual, and heating and AC manual.

They used to sell all of these manuals on one CD, but I don't know if they sell it anymore.

The Bosch Fuel Injection found on the 280SL (Euro) is covered in Robert Bentley Publishers "Bosch Fuel Injection & Engine Management by Charles O. Probst, SAE" This book is a bible for all older German cars. It provides a good analysis section with good diagrams.
