Schematic Question
I have the schematics for all wiring in the CLK series.
I have found my VSS wires on the schematics. My problem is I'm not sure of the coloring due to the naming convention used by MB.
I have the wires colors for the left side are listed as 'WS' and the other wire is 'WS/GE'
The right side wires are listed as SW/GE and the other is listed as SW
I have a few guesses as to what they might be saying but I don't want to take a chance and blow up my command with the wrong wire. There is already a GR there is also a GN designation.
Anyone know
Here is my guess for the rear left side WS = White Stripe
Here is my guess for rear left side WS/GE White Stripe/Grey
I see a wire color listed as GN/VI = Green/Violet if so what the heck is GR? Grey? if so what the heck is GE?
Why do they make this so cryptic?
Anyone want to compare. Or better yet tell me what color the VSS wire is on the driverside that runs from the rear axle.
Thanks
i'm Dutch (OK not everybody is perfect) and at high school next to Dutch we had to learn 3 other laguages, French German and English.

your diagrams are for certain in German:

SW (schwarz) black
WS (weiss) white
GE (gelb) yellow
GR (grau) grey
GN (gruen) green
VI right! = violet
but Vss is a different story. Normaly it is used to identify it as a feed/voltage (Vss = zero feed for a CMOS)
( - fyi : Vdd is positive CMOS feed)
Vss (VOLT spitze/spitze) VOLT(AGE) top/top

Succes, -JW-
