My idle seems to surge (although not much, maybe 100 RPM), and the voltage seems to surge w/it. The higher the revs, the stronger the voltage surge. W/O putting a voltage regulator on it, it seems to be spiking, not dropping (IE: 12v ^ 15v+). My windows stop working, and the radio & climate control cut in and out, not to mention what other problems this could be causing. Any ideas? Bad ground? Voltage regulator? Loose batt. cable? Alternator? :surrender:

Thanks in advance!

With the overvoltage, I suspect a bad regulator. This part can be replaced by itself - i.e. you don't need to replace the entire alternator.
