1995 S500 LWB, should of added it to my account already!

I do have a few other problems that maybe have something to do with it?
. Got ticking sound, probably Mid prop shaft support or flex disc
. Rough idle

That video up there tells me that your limiter has kick't in ,that's all ,the ticking sound has nothing to do with the flex disc or mid shaft if it comes from the engine

I was going to say originally that it was the rpm limiter. The SL500 goes berserk when you get it the limiter to kick in.

What ticking sound? Valve-train ticking or (where is it located)?

LoL,that is the limiter ,i removed my limiter with that ecu chip ,have a look at this video and take note of the gear changes and the rpm's ,the trans still changes at around 200km/h ,all MB's are limited at 255km'h (including the S600 V12 ) wich makes it up & around 52/300 rpm's ,that's exactly were your car stops .
Coming to think about it it ,under neat the transmission on the left hand side there is an airpipe/vaccum (?) that can easy slip out of the housing ,i have no idee what it does or dosnt do ,i only saw that when i replaced my lower engine harness and slighty knock'd it and it just pull't out .

LWB... :nono: It is either a 500SEL or an S500 (no LWB designation as that's all they were sold as). Same goes for the 600's. The 4xx V-8 and the 3xx 6 bangers were sold short and long wheel base throughout production.

I highly recommend you do not rev your engine in idle at such high RPMs, especially longer than a few seconds. Clearly the rev limiter kicked in to prevent engine damage. If you drove in gear and reached those RPMs, there shouldn't be violent shaking or rev limiting until you hit 6k RPM at which the car should change gears. Do not test at idle...

God, yes, I cringed when I saw your tach.

Keep the RPMs down, extend the life of your head, head gasket, and transmission. Your car is expensive to maintain in perfect condition, no need to up-rev it; it's an S-Class MB, not a hotrod!

+1 rev limiter, but mine kick's in around 4000 rpm (a quick throttle snap not extended revving)

Do you mean with the transmission in park? That's what it's supposed to do to prevent damage from the engine and transmission input freely spinning with no load. Usually, the limit is at 4,000 rpm as has been mentioned.

There were SWB 500's and 600's produced. Not brought to the North America market, but ROW.
