Good day

Have a Vito 07 w639 109 cdi ex fridge van. Looking to disconnect the ac compressor. Was wondering if I need a shorter belt to do so? Was going to keep the compressor in place with pipes and just remove pipes from cab upwards (off course refrigeration engineer to do so)

Just looking to route the belt to go in such a way that non-ac models would go.

You could just remove everything from the rear of compressor let the belt do the same job. Look on line you will see belts to fit your Vito with or without the compressor. Not all models had the compressor fitted .

Hi thanks for your reply.
What do you mean take everything from the rear? Like the inlet and outlet connections. I was just hoping that if I removed the belt from it would remove the chance of the compressor bearings failing in future. Is it just as simple as changing the belt?
Regards
