Hi guys,
I'm new here so please bear with me.
I have a vito 122Cdi extra long. It is an ex-demo dec10 model (euro5).
It came fitted with the 16" multispoke alloys seen commonly on the vianos used as taxis.
I have a dual liner model with a fitted panel giving me space for tools in the back. I dont really carry a great deal but occasionally do load up and recently weighed in at a dock at 3.1 tonnes.
I was told by MB to allow a Gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tonnes when looking at new wheels.
My problem is this. I would like 18" wheels preferably.
Do I look for wheels rated at 875KG each or go for the more standard wheels rated at 750KG and run the risk of either not being insured in the event of an accident or being over the load limit of the wheels?
Any advice is welcome.
