Barn find! Two 109s and two 108s in a barn. Spare M100 Engine. Tristate NC, TN, GA location
I ran out of time. 1971 6.3, 1970 6.3, (like new) 67 250S and 69 280SE. I never drove the 69, but drove the others occasionally for 20 years. Buy the whole barn. I got too much car junk.
Are you saying this is your barn of cars and you are selling it, or is this something you stumbled across? PICS please?

I won't have pics for a couple of weeks because the barn is 90 minutes from my residence, and it requires a full day trip. It was my hobby for 50 years. This is my junk, but the 6.3s and the 250S cars I have driven over 25 years. The spare M100 has been on the lift for 20 years.
I also own the barn, but I have so much on my plate I can't anticipate keeping everything. Of course, the barn is also for sale. I can pay to keep my cars fixed, but I have limited resources. Most mechanics on these cars have long since retired. I can only fix a few at any time, and my wife and kids have no interest in keeping them running. They are all driving newer cars now.

I also have a Spruell external oil bypass modified Alfa 2.5 GTV engine on a stand. I swapped it out to put rings in it but sold the entire car instead. I never got around to it.

If it wasn’t for the 6.3’s in running condition I’d swear this had to be Gonzo Alonzo Scuderia @Bavman25

Guys I have not been here for a very long time. Too many years ago I sold my 65 300SE W112. I have a few parts left over that did not go with the car. I am going to post them here first, pictures to follow. European headlights for the W111 and W112. $600.00 plus shipping. I have NOS rear metal drivers side metal opposite where the spare tire goes, not sure exactly how to describe this better. $125.00 plus shipping. I also have new rear tail light housings and lens complete European tail lights complete R & L side $1,500.00 plus shipping.

I also found what I believe to be the 300SE MFI pump available, I'm sure it needs to be rebuilt. $950.00. Pictures upon request or as soon as I figure out how to post. [email protected]. Jim Dorociak

Holy crap ! .

The junkyards are littered with these things, I used to gather them up and one day realized I had hundreds of 50's, 60's and 70's dealer plate frames, I gave the all to a buddy .

If you have a good chromer (I do) they really brighten up your auld crate .

Not so much anymore. Junkyards in S. Cal totally dried up of older cars maybe 10 years ago. I hope your buddy makes some $$$ on them!
Knowing Cliff I bet he'll die with them in his shed .

I still find 50's, 60's and 70's vehicles in the LKQ yards in So. Cal........

What I don't find anymore is Motocycles :cry::unsure: .
Still available?
Sorry, the license plate frames are sold.
My 250C is for sale, trade-in is pending, but it would be cool if I could get more than $10K for it during the next week or so (do you hear the desperation in my typing?).

  • Manufactured summer of ‘72
  • Aqua blue over navy mbtex
  • Four speed auto with floor shifter, power windows, no sunroof, a/c, Becker radio
  • Sold at Walters MB in Riverside, CA
    • I have the Walters key ring, license frame and blue plates
  • Complete records including aluminum vin tag, maintenance book stamps, 50+ repair invoices predating 1999 (except that about 4 years and 15k miles are missing during the 80s)
  • The original owner gave it to my grandmother’s husband in the late 90s in San Bernardino, he passed away, and it spent 18 years in a dry garage in Spokane, during that time I started it about once per year when I visited my family
  • 95K miles and I really think that’s legit
  • Since 2017:
    • Four 15” wheels (reproduction bundts), 215/60 Sumitomos; the original wheels and wheel covers (excellent condition) are in that garage in Spokane, new spare time too
    • Fuel tank removed and refurbished
    • Webers replaced the Zeniths (Zeniths were expensively rebuilt but Webers were an easier fix), intake manifold was removed and planed
    • Every bushing, subframe mount, new control arms, tie rod ends, 4 sway bar endlinks, etc.
    • Red Koni shocks
    • 4 MB brake calipers, pads, rotors and lines
    • Every rubber fuel hose, also new fuel pump
    • Non-working a/c compressor and fan removed, I have that stuff
    • Rebuilt shifter and shift rod bushings replaced
    • Coolant hoses, power steering hoses, vacuum hoses, etc.
    • Pertronix ignition
    • NOS Cibie H4s and Cibie Oscar Plus with relays
    • Custom exhaust from dual downpipes to NOS rear muffler system (work of art), all OEM brackets
    • Replaced the speaker (just has one, center of dash)
    • Bosch tach on the steering column
    • Later steering wheel
    • NOS floor mats, navy blue
    • Lots of little stuff
    • More that I can’t remember
  • Bad
    • Front of the car was resprayed at some point
    • One dash crack
    • Window seals are not perfect but you have to get pretty close to tell (it is water tight)
    • I removed the lower front bumpers and the vertical bumper pads – I think it’s way better but others might disagree
    • Door seals and trunk seals are original
  • Good
    • Drives nicely, I have pretty high standard for rattles, braking, turning, etc.
    • Paint is very shiny, and except for dash crack the interior is super nice
    • I really like the way that the 4 speed auto downshifts at stop signs
    • Body is crazy straight, I had pdr done, and it was only needed at the ends of those big heavy doors, I can see the original owner (Ethel Johnson) opening the doors into whatever was in her garage 40 years ago
    • Complete tool kit, original manuals, original spare fuses, sales brochures, etc.
    • All MB glass
    • Complicated hvac switches work
  • Car is located in Boulder County, Colorado. I drove it to work last week, and I drove it on Wednesday to pick my kid up from football practice, it’s super fun

Hey all! been a while since I posted. I have a 1965 220S that I had to part due to bad rust and bad title. I tried saving as many of the parts as possible so they can keep other mercs out on the road.

Its a lot of parts so I put them on a google sheet to keep track of photos and descriptions. Feel free to reach out to me on here or email too if you see anything you need. I am open to offers, especially if you buy a bunch.

Want buy, w108 m116/117 engine mount arms.
What's the latest on the barn/cars?
Maybe you want to clarify your question if you’d like a response. I don’t understand what you are asking about.

Sorry, the quote didn't follow. The post was from January so I'll bet they're long gone.

I have a 1972 280 SE 4.5 that I need to sell. It last ran in 2013 and has been stored outside since then. I think at this point it is probably going to be a parts car. It is located in central Florida.

Maybe network via Pierre Hedary.
I had someone contact him through Facebook and didn't get a response.
