Hey all, I've been trying to diagnose my resonating vibration problem and have a question. Will I do any damage by running the car in gear with the wheels off the car. I have a resonating vibration that comes and goes at 65-70 MPH. It last about 3 seconds (dash and seat of pants) about every 5 seconds. I have new tires, alignment, numerous wheel balancing, new flex disc and trans mount. I ran the car with the rear wheels off the ground but the ESP kept kicking in because the front wheels weren't spinning and the speedo doesn't work with the front wheel stationary. I did get the vibration but I want to remove the wheels from the equation to see it is a driveline problem. I don't want to do any damage.
