My 05 CLK500 Cabrio with 22,500 miles on it begins to vibrate at about 60-65 mph. It seems to smooth out a little at about 75 mph. It also pulls a little to the right. Do y'all think this is just a wheel balance and/or an alignment problem, or something worse.

Roadforce?

Just got my car back.(From a Meredes dealer) Yes, the wheels were out of balance, but the primary reason for the vibration, according to him, is I have "roadforce" in my right front tire. Basically, he says that at highway speeds, the tire is no longer round, but develops "high" spots. Almost like the tire becomes an oval shape. They are Goodyear Eagle F-1's on it from a previous owner with less than 20k miles on them. The dealer says Goodyear will make good on replacing the tire, although he can't garrantee that since I'm not the original buyer.

Anyone ever heard of roadforce before?
