Location diagram with pics for your SLK convertible top hydraulic cylinders

Although this PDF is for the R230 (SL I think), it is invaluable for troubleshooting the SLK170 roof problems.

Seanie_230 attached it to the SLKWorld forum. I thought I would attach it to this excellent thread to add another tool to the toolbox!
Thank you for adding that. I find it quite useful.

The R230 and R170 roofs are largely similar, although the R230 roof is a little more complex. It has some locking cylinders in the frame and the rear window swivels for more compact storage. However, five of the cylinders are almost identical to the five cylinders in the R170, and the overall functionality is about the same.

I'm adding below a diagram with the location of the hydraulic cylinders...
