One of my valve covers is leaking and I am tearing it apart. I need to know what to torque the bolts down too. I am amazed how many bolts have to be remove to get the valve cover off. Can someone tell me what the torque specifications are so I can stop the leak.

That is not the same valve cover mine has the sparkplug wires goimg through it.
The 3.5 V6 M272 engine spec is 12 Nm first pass ,,,followed by another 90 degrees or quarter turn on the second pass.
Begin centrally working progressively to the outer and front and rear bolts.

Are you sure it is leaking from cylinder head cover? Most common leaks are from plastic back plugs or centrifuge cover.

I would like to thank the two guess that posted the pictures they are going to be very helpful. I am fighting to find out where the last bolts are that are keeping the valve cover from coming off. I will post the results later today. Thank you
