I was replacing a few vacuum hoses on my car and found a couple that dont connect to anything and im pretty sure thats not a good thing. Does anyone have a engine compartment vacuum diagram to show where these things go! Its a 1979 280e euro. The two that are disconnected are on the left side of the engine and run around the back of the engine and are cut. Ayn help would be greatly appreciated.

So should those lines still be connected on my car to the egr valve and the distributer/and intake? Im not even sure where the egr valve is on my car. I will have to look when I get home from the hospital. I have a new 8 pound baby girl today! Woo Hoo

Thanks for the info... I appreciate it.

Congratulations on the new baby.

No EGR on your Euro. Sorry, these were all the diagrams I had and figured it would help you narrow it down. If I'm not mistaking, I think one goes to the climate control of the thermo vacuum switch, but can't remember where the other went.
