I admit it, I'm as cheap as a chinman on clearance at the dollar store so I took upon myself to spend an hour to repair a $1 part. Actually, I live in Hawaii and there's NO place to buy these 3 and 4 way vac connectors without having to wait forever for it to swim here from the states... mine was cracked and dried out and leaking vaccum so I needed to fix it now. So here's how I did it. If you go to walmart, in the auto section, there's plastisol dip. It's the stuff that you dip your tool handles in to give it a rubber/plastic grip surface. Well, I had that laying around and thought, why not? so I took my cracked dried connectors, brakleened them, stuffed golf tee's in the holes and dipped it in. The plastisol dip is pliable, solvent/oil/heat resistant so it's great for the harsh environment.well it dried and presto, non-leaky connectors! plus they look new again although now a bright red color.
