I have a new problem with my V280 that has happened 3 times in the last week.

Driving along slowly, turning the wheel the engine stalls and then will not restart. It cranks over without a problem and after a few seconds the oil pressure light appears to flash regularly.

After about 30 mins it will restart again.

This happens if the van is warm and has happened when part-warm.

It appears to have fuel pressure and when it stops it doesn't stutter, just stops - so it doesn't feel like a fuel problem.

Van is '98 with 132,000 miles.

Any suggestions please?

It was a temperature sensitive fault on the crankshaft sensor. All fixed now.
