I recovered r134a from working 1999 e430 a/c system it went thru filter to a storage tank. Now when i want to charge the system again, do I need to ad oil? My understanding is that oil is still present in recovered r134a?

Can some body confirm this.

Thanks!

Recovery AC unit?

Yes! The filtered freon is just that clean Freon. Oil is separated by the recovery machine. While "toping off" the sys does not requires oil a new system will require oil.

This is not one of those automatic machines, this is stinger 2000. it does not separate oil. Least I don´t see any tank were it would go.
