In regards to code P0500: If all the wheel speed sensors have been changed and my car is still in limp mode and I'm still getting this code, what should be my next step?

Very good rundown and pics on the K40 Bazzle. In a former post I queried as to why you referenced the fuse panel being on the wrong side. DUH I forgot you all drive on the other side of the road down there. This car is much fun to drive, has a minor quirk or 2, but nothing major. Wife will not ride a Harley and the price is about the same. I thank everyone for the posts that keep it on the road extremely helpful stuff. Thx Bazz you da man. '99 SLK 230

Bazzle, I have emailed you before and you were very helpful, might I intrude on you again please. I have a 2001 230 slk and its throwing a code P0222 which is the throttle pedal position sensor switch B. I can't find hardly anything on it in here. What I have found is 1. replace the whole gas pedal. 2. replace only the sensor on the gas pedal. Which is it? I am a pretty little women but how in the world are you suppose to even get in there to replace the silly thing. We are going to have a ice storm the next couple of days so odds are I will not be attempting it until the weather gets a little warmer since I have no garage here where I have just moved. I'd appreciate any help you can pass along. Penny
