Not being a carpetner or handy with tools, still I've decided to make my own hoist, after reviewing the prices and avaliability. The harness were ordered from PerformanceBenzParts, after reading about them here.
Wood and electric wench are from my neighbourhood hardware store. It took me 4 hours to make it alone and I am very proud of it. Excuse the crude execution but it works great.
Lumber USD 60 Outdoor Water Resistant 4x4
Wench USD 80 Chinese made 250KG Capacity
Nuts and Bolts USD 20
Harness PPFB USD 55 + Shipping 30
My Labour Priceless ;)

Excellent work, very strong, you can even lift and work on the the bike...

I hope that the bolts holding the hoist are threaded and go all the way through the 4x4.
(No lug bolts.)

Now who did build that bench? ;) Haha.

Anyways you should be proud good job. :)

Regards,
aam.
