Hi im trying to make my ML have USA mirrors when the side mirrors always light up. What cable in the door is for flasher light on side mirror?

can you post a photo of what you have and a link/photo of what you want.

Part numbers would help.

Some mls have no wiring in place for indicators. But you have an 05 so something may be in place.

This is from a 2001 wiring diagram but for the turn signal look for
a pink wire driver side
green wire passanger side
the circuit grouns out with a tan wire

Original? or what do you mean. They light up when im using my turn signal?

I understand now.
On the 2000 ML320 we have I updated the mirrors. The are not lit up until the turn signal is used.
I believe that is the way they are supposed to function.
