Yes, a warranty, but still the same inconvenient process.
Lots more convenient at your dealer and the warranty there gets you another new part. Convenience is worth some cost, isn't it? I bet at my dealer, if I arranged this service in the morning they'd have the new part shipped to them and installed in my car the next day.
Boy, I'd like to run a company where my customers made my work this convenient for me and where I didn't have to invest in any inventory.
