Hi folks,
I'm new to this site and would really appreciate your help. I have a 2000 CLK 320. On highways speeds the steering resonates subtly, as if the wheels are not balanced. Its so subtle yet its there. Its really annoying. I usually notice it between 60km/h and 100km/h. After 110km/h it goes away. The dealership changed the steering column and the drive shaft (thank God for extended warr.), but its still there. I have checked the balancing of all tires. All check out okay. Engine is not rough while running. Car is in really good condition but its just the steeting that resonates. I also have two sets of rims and tires. Both have the same issue. So that rules out if its tire related, no? Guys, please tell me what it is? Give me a few trouble shooting pointer so I can go back to Dealership and see if they can fix it.
