I just purchased a Certified Pre Owned 2006 350E 4Matic. I have the COMMAND center however the Satellite and Phone buttons render a "No Satellite" or "No Phone" statement on screen since they are not activitated and since probably the Hardware "behind the buttons" probably doesn't even exist..........SO.....How & Where do I purchase the necessary Hardware to upgrade both of these options?

You purchased an E350, not 350E. This isn't 1993. Please get the model correct.

You can go to Home for your OEM phone system. phone cradle will be around $400 and you'll need a special phone to interface, or you can get their bluetooth module but check their approved phone list that work with it. I have the system and it works very welll. As far as Sirius, it is likely to be a dealer installed equipment, including an ugly small bulge on the car truck for the satellite antenna. Unlikely to be cheap. Maybe someone has a better suggestion.

USe your Cell Phone with a Bluetooth Puck and Tail @ $388.00

Do a search on "Puck and tail" and find the thread that tells you how to buy a Bluetooth adapter for $388 froj Dealer, install it, have Dealer activate the phone in the TeleAid setup menu, and use your own cell phone that you carry on your person.

If the W211 did NOT come with a Phone you will need..

Phone PSE control unit
optic lead to loop it in the system
phone cradle assy
phone or the OE MB blue tooth puc
Version code the phone via the Star aka SDS

Re The Sirius

You can use the OE MB Kit and Install the antenna Under the rear hat shelf instead of the trunk lid..It works great!

The MB Ipod kit is another option as well

Check with MBENZNL.com re current prices as he can Install them and version code them

2006 was a "tough" year for Sirius in the E-class.

As an economy measure (read falling dollar) the wiring from the trunk to the head unit was omitted, so lots of interior work will be needed to install Sirius in a 2006.

$1500-$2000 before they're done.
