Got my Euro headlamp wipers from Jonathan about a month ago.

The full kit included:
- Wiper arm motors
- Wiper arms
- Wiper blades (I don't think you can replace these at AutoZone.....)
- Valence panels.

The installation was pretty straightforward as these wipers bolt straight onto the Euro headlamps.

The car looks really nice! Individualized but not hacked.

May I ask, how much did the complete set up for the euro light wipers cost you?

Ditto... How much was the set-up? I'm very interested in doing this as my next mod (after installing my Bosch headlamps, of course--which are waiting for me at home). :)

Thanks for the compliments.

I'm still on the hunt for a rear bumper apron to complete the "ground effects" package.

......and, as Kalifornia stated, I need to find some time to install the rear sunshade.

The total cost for the Euro headlamp wiper conversion is about $700. I consciously obfuscate on the cost, that way I can claim, with some semblance of honesty, that I don't really know how much money I spend on the car when my wife asks me.

I posed the same question to Axel long ago ( about his custom pedals, gauge dials etc) and got the same answer! He is consistent about not remembering the actual cost. Better for him! Good! Keep it up!! lol

Axel,
Your car looks fantastic. Wish I could make my SEC look the same way!

looks great--too bad i only have the euro sedan kit and not the coupe one
looks great from all angles and really adds to the carrs looks in my opinion----you have to keep looking for a coupe front amg bumper though eventually you will find one even if you have to buy the whole car--i had to!

Installing Euro wipers on a wiperless car?

My 1985 500SEC was grey-marketed from Monaco, but was not originally equipped with headlamp wipers. I have purchased the original euro headlamps (levelling was factory installed). I have also purchased euro wiper motors and blades, but I think that I may have sedan wiper blade arms instead of SEC arms. The motor numbers are 126-820-06-42 for the left and 126-820-04-42 for the right. The wiper arms have no real MB part numbers on them.
I can modify the lower headlamp valences to accept the wiper shaft, but the electrical wiring/relay business is something that I haven't really looked into, other than the diagrams on the service library.
Would anyone be able to provide dimensions on the blades (sedan VS coupe)?
Any help would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, I don't think the sedan and coupe have any parts in common. :(

My left headlamp wiper motor is 126 820 55 42 and the right one is 126 820 56 42.

Once you get the right parts, they're really easy to install.

Axel is correct.

The wiper parts are entirely different between Sedans and Coupes as well as US and Euro. Nothing interchanges, not even the wiper blades!
