Hello,

I am in sight of getting my 1964 404.1 Belgian radio truck back together. This marking was a few layers of paint down on the hood. There was also one covered in paint on the rear left door. Where can I find out what unit and time of service this was for?

Thanks,
Pete

Hi Pete,
Best of luck on the rejuvenation. I am doing the same thing to a couple of radio boxes here.

I had the same question about markings. Check out this thread for MANY great suggestions from the people on this forum. They answered my query, and the same references can assist you.

My new box was from an artillery training battalion.

Yours is Signals (communications) 3rd Company, 12th Battalion??
