Hi guys i have a 406 steering axle with no identification tags on it nor is this axle in a 406 its for a custom project and i need to replace some parts on one side kingpin they look like this

the following is the top kingpin




it slides into the knuckle into a brass bush it looks like this






this is the bottom kingpin which is in the housing




and this slides over it





so has anyone have any information as to what model this is off?

Looks like an early "F" axle from a 406, most likely a 65'-67' vintage. I bet the portal gears are not straight cut, but are more like the 404's and are not the same from side to side. So there is a left side and a right side to the gears. The straight cut gears are a bit beefer as well. You should be able to get what you need from Scott at Expedition Imports.
