I have been having this problem for a while now. It started very slowly as I used to top up the coolant container with small amounts of water only once a week, but it began to worsen with time, with nowadays I top it up almost everday with plenty of water(2-3Litres). I checked everywhere, there are no leaks in the hose pipes, the radiator is fine, no oil traces in the coolant, no white smoke coming out of silencer and there is no moisture underneath the interior carpets, no moisture in the engine bay while the engine is running or not. Also car has no overheating issues, no running issues. I am out of ideas what else can be wrong with the car thats causing the problem Anyone out there to help me, I will be very Thankful.

If its not going on the ground, its either coming out the exhaust or going in the oil pan. Change your oil and see if water is the first thing that comes out.

Coolant Loss

This on my daughters 96 C280, 245,000 miles. It has had a persistent coolant loss over the last few months, although I didn't realize it until just recently. My daughter finally mentioned that every couple of weeks the coolant warning light comes on, so she pours in a bottle of 50/50 and goes...

Pressure test the coolant system. It sounds like head gasket failure.

Try K seal use it for a few weeks and drain the system off and flush it out and then refill ,,might solve it .Unless you do a head strip down and a head skim and replace the head gasket .
