I received a rock that made a hole in my first week with my c300. I noticed someone else had the 3 meshes grill under the bumper with lots of holes. Its really made of cheap plastic, i wont change it for the same thing. I cant find a replacement, im not sure what to search i always end up finding the big grill.
Can you help me find something that will look good on my white c300?
And is yours in good condition?

If ur talking about da lower area by da fog lights, u may have 2 go 2 da dealer 4 a replacement. I had da same prob. dealer said da mesh protects da radiator

If I remember correctly da total cost was $425 r $435, b/c dey have 2 remove d entire front bumper, I almost died wen I wrote dat check:crybaby2:

dealer just got back to me and he said $172 installed, maybe he made a mistake for the installation, but im afraid its not going to last longer than the first one, i wonder if the grill on the classic (the not sport) fits, it looks thicker and may be more résistant.

Won't fit. The only people that sell an aftermarket is Clarsson it is metal but costs a boat load of money.

my mesh is fine, even though it is plastic, it looks pretty thick to me.

Same issue

Well just got my new C3004M 4 weeks ago and just last Friday early in the morning was parking at my tennis club and got to close to concrete limiter at parking (was high) and managed to get my front on it a bit. That was enough to cause bottom grille to break (low temperature did not help). So lesson learned, it is not necessarily rock it may be parking, but for sure this grille is of low quality (too stiff) and I am looking for better replacement solution.

Shit man, you could have bought the Carlsson inserts for that price. They have two types of metal inserts, one for 199 euro and one for 349 euro.

My source is the executive sales director for Carlsson. I've done a performance tune on my car at their headquarters in Gut Weisenhof, and I'm taking it back next month for an interior conversion.
