Under hood drains

I had the battery out to replace the MAS relay and noticed leafs etc that I will remove when I get closer to a vacuum cleaner.
There is quite a bit of crud in the corners near the hinges. Are drains under there?
And if so, use a wire to clean?

O.K. did a search, and know these are water drains. Is there a main drain under the screen between the wipers?
