Next week I have to travel from Montreal to Portland, Maine via Vermont, NH and of course Maine.
My question is: Will ULSD be easily available ?

I have googled this topic and searched service station locator and all I can find is LSD availability, not USLD !

Anyone in those states that can help ???
And by the way, no Flying J in those states ...

Thanks

ULSD everywhere

I had exactly this concern myself a couple of months ago. I bought my ML 320 CDI to tow a race car across the upper midwest. I have gone from Minnesota to Kansas as well as to eastern Ohio. Every station I stopped at had ULSD. Every one! I suppose you might find LSD in rural areas, but on the interstate, it's all ULSD from my experience.

Yes, you will have a hard time not finding ULSD.

I doubt there's a refinery in the USA now making the old stuff and for sure there isn't one making both. This stuff gets checked, and companies can't afford to "poison" pipelines with the dirty stuff.

Did it ...

Finaly done : Montreal thru VT, NH and ME mainly on rural roads.

No problem finding ULSD !

2 out of 3 stations where diesel is available carry ULSD.
Among those 50% use large filling nozzle wich can be a pain ...

Diesel stations are sparse in those neck of the woods but with an autonomy of 1,000 km I can't complain.

Average price between $4.79 and $4.99 / gal

Did a 1,000 km round trip for $100 ... 9,3li /100km ... cool even at those prices.
