Hello to all,

It is getting hot in the desert already in May. Today I fire up my car at 107 degree heat, no start until i floor the gas pedal. Thats not the problem, the problems are the ac will not blow ice cold like it used to, and the engine is overheating, mostly when the car is stopped.

One cooling fan does not work, but that never seemed to be a problem.

Should i add more refrigerant for the ac problem and replace the cooling fan for the overheating problem?

thanks

there's a lot you can do. and i have no idea what you've addressed already. thermostat? radiator? fan clutch?
if the engine is overheating there is no way the AC will work even if it itself is in good shape. address the more important issues first.

Well the radiator has recently been replaced.
Coolent levels are good.

Don't have a hot start or cold start valve.

There are only bubbles in the sight glass, when it is hot outside, when cooler outside, the bubbles go away.
