Hi Everyone and Happy New Year!

I wondered if the in cab hand pump needs serviced over the years of using it? I recall it being sorta hard to pump, but today it was about impossible, and I actually don't think it's pumping the ether into the intake, as it shows no response in firing when finally pumped. Is this the sign of a failing pump or do these things need a service of some sort?

Thank you,

ACUF

You have to fill the StartPilote reservoir.

Ok, thank you. I should have mentioned I have refilled it recently, and the problem seems to be isolated to the pump or the lines, etc. I will look at taking it apart and cleaning it out.

Cold starts just aren't the same without it!!

While you're working on it you can pick up a can of starting fluid, a quick (no more than two seconds) squirt down the air intake is all you'll need to start right up.
