Hi Guys , setting up the brakes on my U1200 buggy . Rebuilt the back brakes as they where leaking flued . And as we where bleeding them the back brake's let go and started leaking again . I have a different than factory brake booster , and my air system is regulated at 80 psi . Is this more than the factory spec for the brakes . Thanks Robb

Robb,

The air system on most U1200's is to be regulated to 8 bar (~116 psi), although most of the heavier trucks (435's and such) were regulated to 18 bar (~261 psi). It is hard to tell what it should be with the non standard booster, but I doubt that the trouble is comming from the air pressure. What kind of shape were the caliper pistons in, and did you check to make sure they were still in spec?

Cheers,
Ben
