Are there no recommendations for shops in or near Sugar Land which can service vintage MBs? I would really like someone close by to me.

Here are some of my recommendations from people/businesses I have used over and over again and I trust:

1. Repair Shop:
Sphere Motorsports (Heights Area)
3233 W. 11th Street, Houston, 77008
832-277-7062
Exotic car repair Houston | Exotic auto repair shop Houston | Exotic car service shop Houston TX
Mark, the owner, is a good guy. They do repair and also have a large space for vehicle storage. They mostly work on exotic cars but I've seen vintage benzes there every time I've visited. Once
you go here, you'll keep going back just to see the eye candy they usually have there at any given time.

2. Paint & Body:
Royal Collision (Southwest Houston)
9206 Richmond Ave.
Houston, TX 77063
713-266-9800
Royal Collision ? Auto Body Shop & Collision Repair Houston TX
Joe, the owner, knows his stuff. They only work on high end and exotic vehicles and their work is really amazing. They aren't fast, but they are great at what they do.

3. Carwash/Detail/Paint Correction:
Vive Auto Finishing (Southwest Houston & Mobile)
6261 Richmond Ave.
Houston, TX 77057
832-613-8807
Auto Detailing Houston | Car Detailing Houston | Car Care Studio Houston
Anson, the owner, is a perfectionist and has a really good team of people there. They also have a mobile service available for most of their services if you want them to come to you.

4. Paintless Dent Removal (PDR):
Ultimate Auto Recon (Mobile)
832-247-9668
Nauman, the owner, is mobile most of the time or has a few shops around town that will let him work on your car there. He is the best PDR guy I've ever used. The only problem is availability
because he's always traveling to other cities for his work. You just have to call him to get on his schedule.

5. Used Car Dealer:
MW Carline (Southwest Houston)
5704 Southwest Freeway
Houston, TX 77057
Luxury Cars Houston | Lamborghini & Ferrari | MW Carline
Omar, the owner, is a good man to know with a lot of connections to find high end and exotic cars. Chris, his sales guy, however, is a Mercedes expert. For a young man (probably in his early
30s), he's got a lot of knowledge about older (60s-90s) MBs. This is a boutique dealership that has a small indoor showroom and only has like 20 cars at a time. However, they have a great
consignment program if you're looking to sell and they are very cool to deal with when it comes to utilizing tax credits from cars you're selling.

Hope this info is able to help some of you.

For those wondering about Helmut Holder, I found a sign along the highway out in the country outside of my town that says 'Helmut Holder Motors Used Car Sales'. I've seen the sign since I was a kid it looks very old and there is a lineup of 60s and 70s Mercedes on the other side of the fence rusting away in the Texas sun. I Googled his name and found this forum and these posts so that is why I am posting what I know for those who make and look into it or have been wondering about him. It is on Highway 14 between Tyler Texas and Hawkins Texas across the street from where County Road 3181 meets hwy 14. If anyone has any additional information please post it. I thought I might stop by there sometime to ask questions.

Repair Shop in the Heights

Hi,

I'm a relatively new owner of a E350 Wagon 4Matic, and I am looking for recommendation about a repair shop either in the Heights or close to it.

Does anyone have any experience with Orion Auto Service on Yale St.? It does have very good reviews on google...

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Claudio

Have a G500 with a death wooble. Dealer has replaced track bar, drag link & tie rod but still have it. Can anyone recommend a 4x4 specialist in Houston area that might be able to tackle problem?

Folks I am relatively new the the MB world. Picked up a very nice 88 560 SEL and it is time to get the AC checked. Any referrals or recommendations onMB shops that do good AC work. Also the car is still running R12. Any comments or feedback on R134A conversion. I live just north of the Clear Lake area but work 290 & Bingle area. Shops in either of those two areas would be nice. But selecting the shop with the best reputation for quality work and fair pricing is more important.

The car is in very good shape and relatively low miles (80K) but does need some make up maintenance in the suspension and drive train areas. What are some of the good Houston area shops for routine repairs and maintenance? I typically do all the fuid changes myself.

Thanks

Vince

Check out Euro Logik if Katy/West Houston isn’t too far out of the way. Go and see Troy over there.
