Hey guys,
So as some of you guys know i own Speed Mafia and i mostly deal in domestics...but since i picked up my 1999 CLK 430 i am thinking of putting a p1SC ProCharger on it. Since i am a distributor for them i am very familiar with there products and blowers and i think it would be very interesting to see how it handles boost...my only concern is tuning!

How many boosted W208 CLK's are out there?

Thanks Kevin:thumbsup:

I would love to see a kit for a 2000 CLK320:thumbsup: I think a few people would buy it.

To be honest man doing a kit for the Cars is the easy part i do all the engineering and design for procharged cars that are unique so that is the easy part, tuning is the hard part...thats really my only concern i can get kits out very cheap like....4500.00 then you have to worry about tuning which can be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You might want to talk to HOP ( House of Power ) in Huntington Beach CA. They have been selling, tunning and custom making Vortech centrifugal blower installations for about 6 years now. They could answer you questions about tunning.

If what you are looking to do is create something with a centrifugal blower they would be the ones to call for questions because I don't think anyone else out there is doing it.

Here's a link to there website for there contact info

I'm not worried about the tunning part, I have a friend who worked for a Skyline GTR Tunning company here in Japan who says he can do it.

I emailed HOP twice in the past and they never responded. :crybaby2:I know they have a kit for the CLK430 but I don't know if I can apply that same kit to my CLK320. I'm not real knowlegeable about engines and tunning.

I don't think they have one for the 320 yet or maybe they do but I have not talked to them in about 3 -4 years. They might have one now. He wanted to test everything out on my car and I pay for the parts for sponsorship but I told the guy that I wanted it all for free and I would show my car everywhere for him and give him lots of fame for doing so. The kit was estimated to cost around $5500 installed and the parts were going to be around $3500. I'm sure those prices are not the same now.

Very nice! yeah i will be using a ProCharger head unit it is a better product hands down but if i can talk to them about tuning man it is so on!

I was at HOP and it looks like the tuning for air/fuel is done with a FMU? i ran a FMU on my Vette for the longest time but the only problem is you cant pull timing if needed but then again should need to pull to much timing on 6psi :)

And the kit is non-intercooled so it is very interesting.

Damn very nice! did Kleemann do the tuning i might become a dealer for them :)
Thanks. It is just a generic tune by mail type deal from Kleemann. Tuning for benzes is pretty hard to find.

lol i hear you, but i was very surprised these guys are using the FMU to tune. That being said with a good fuel and timing only at 24 degrees you can run safely around 6-7psi.

very nice thank you for the link i loved it and yep thats a vortech for sure so i am really debating if i want to slap on a procharger and run prochargers fmu???

all my buddies tell me not to spend the money for 6psi (4900 usd) but it just might be worth it for car shop purposes?

This is the best post I have seen. I have been searching everywhere for a decent way to get more horsepower. STS Turbo's, HPS, etc... Now I got somewhere else to look. Great post!
