This is purely a cosmetic change but I was wondering if anyone has added chrome twin exhausts to their existing vertical facing pipes? I contacted a muffler company and they told me it was possible to modify (cut??) my present vertical facing pipes and then add horizontal twin chrome pipes. It may not even be necessary to cut a small section of the bumper bar to accommodate the pipes.

Need opinions.

Cheers

Chrome exhaust tail pipes

I've been thinking about the same thing recently too. I have just a single downward facing cuved tail pipe. I would like to know has anyone either added a tail pipe cover to my type?

That is just what I was looking for. not too aggresive and not cutting the rear valance. Did you just add the tail pipe onto the existing curvered downpipe? and could you take a photo under neath so I can see the join?

thanks

Thanks guys. Great pics. You've really cleared a few things up for me. Oh the twin pipes look great too. I'd rather not cut into the valance as well (ah ...the right term).

Cheers

Actually what happen was, they cut the tail pipe close to the muffler and

fitted this S shape up to and very close to the valance with a clearance of

about 2 inches. The muffler guy just put a little tack so he can move it around

then he attach this stainless finisher. Now the fun part, some maneuvering and

centering and how much protrusion i wanted. My suggestion is dont go over

2 inches out.But then again all of us have different taste.

Hope this helps
p.c.
