Hi all, I was out in m y 2007 GL320CDi in the weekend, indicated to turn left and the indicators started flashing fast, the front fog on the left became a indicator, and there is a 'check left front indicator' on the dash.
So, I removed the left headlight unit ( what a mission that is ... ) and checked the bulb ..... fine !!
Some research suggested the bulb could be high resistance, so I fittted a new bulb, but the fault remains.
The bulb does actually glow for two or three flashes, them the car errors out, and returns to the fast flash and flashing fog light.
my iCarsoft MB2 reports as per the image.
Any idea where to start looking for short ? I assume not an open, as the bulb does flash a few times ?
Cheers !

Check the condition of the connectors, including the connection to the ground point.

If I remember correctly, the turn signal bulb is actually not inside the headlamp unit - you make a very difficult reach under the headlamp unit and turn the bulb mounting tube.
