I've noticed that the trunk on my 91 E320 doesn't shut flush on one side (the lip of the trunk comes up over the car body.)

It's more an aesthetic issue than anything else. But the car has had no body work and am wondering if this might be a common issue.

the trunk can be adjusted; the hinge bolts are loosened and can slide to allow a better fit. there are also adjusters for the lid height. any body shop/mechanic should be able to do this for you.
