Trunk Lock won't open

Hi Guys! I need your expertise or advise as what to do with my current trunk that won't open. Its a 1989 W124 230e and the cylinder trunk lock where you put your keys came off together with the key. What remained was the stainless tumbler and pushing it to open the trunk just didn't help. Any ideas what I can do to open it up without you know damaging the car or the trunk?
