Well I hope I didn't mess up too much, I had subwoofers in the trunk of the 210 and I knew there was some trunk rattle but It got to the point where it is completely not level anymore. The trunk is almost a half inch above the body.

I am thinking it is the bottom metal piece of the latch... But I'm not quite sure. Anyone else have that problem??
I hope it's not too expensive of a fix

Minor adjustment is by loosening (a) bolts on left & right hinge levers, (b) bolts at striker eye, (c) bolts at corner 'stops'. Then use pressure to move trunk lid into the correct position.

It's hard to see how you have a mis-aligned trunk lid if these bolts have not been distubed. However, if you have removed your rear parcel shelf to add subwoofers, you might have disturbed the nuts on the 2 eccentric bolts located there. These are used to make larger adjustments the trunk lid alignment, with bolts a, b, c, loose.

Bodywork gaps.
trunk lid to top of rear fender = 4.5mm +/- 0.5mm
trunl lid to bottom of rear fender = 4.5mm +/- 0.5mm

also...
be aware that the latching unit (trunk lid) and the strike plate (trunk) are
adjustable also. I recall large torx fasteners. if these had been monkeyed
with, or loosened, your trunk may be locking out of alignment.

so, look at this from a 'system' point of view, ie hinges, bump stops, and
latching mechanism, altogether.
