No definitely not. It has been discussed here before, there isn't one AMG item on the car. This doesn't mean it isn't a cool car though, I love the MAE wheels!

It's been on the 'bay for a while now... Usually cars of interest that show up there or craigs list get mentioned here pretty fast.. Try a search.
I've noticed the car a long time ago but it was on the bottom of the list for cars to look at and am just getting around to it ... seems in a bit of rough shape for the price. Hittin the search!!!
Hmmm, found the old thread. The good Dr. G. recognized it as a NY floater ... that always makes me a bit nervous. And to boot, a floater that has been for sale a looong time. Usually spells trouble in my experience!

Appears to be a decent looking car from the pics. If your not collecting it may be worth the trip, but not for that price.

Yep, the 'interia' line was one of the reasons it was on the bottom of my list
Think I will give it a look, but as you said, price is a bit extreme. Not to mention the odometer is in the TMU realm and is at least pushing 200k. Might end up being too expensive at any price ....

Those are the ugliest wheels I have ever seen in my life!
It is a nice car, a couple of things tho, if theres any AMG kit, its the front bumper BUT they've put 4 door front bumper on a 2 door (gap under the grille) and if its 84, they've spent the money on all the upgrades to go from 84 to 89/90 look (would've cost a packet). It is a nice car though, I'd be happy with it (I'd change the wheels though for AMG/AMG copies) Good luck with it!
I must say I really do like the look of it, the color especially .... always a sucker for the dark red! The current wheels do say "AMG" on them, don't know if that is something that can be added on. He does also have the chrome set that I believe are the more stock AMG rims. It does seem to be a bt of a FrankenCar but might be good for a newbie if mechanically it is relatively sound and the price was more reasonable. Has a bit of the Mad Max look to her Have not been able to look at it yet due to the holiday and weather up here but hopefully tomorrow. Anything else anyone can see or I should keep an eye out for on her please let me know!

Yeah, euro sedan front bumper. I like the MAE wheels - better looking than centras IMHO.

Oh definitely. I think that centras look more dated than bundts.
Did someone say they say AMG on them?? That would have to be a decal of some sort added later, AMG never made a wheel that looked like that to my knowledge.
I think I spoke to the seller ages ago and he said 'kit only'.
