I have come across this factory trip computer manual in English. I have seen them in German and even own one in Japanese, but this is the first time I ever seen it in English.

The pdf file is too big to attach, just follow the link below and click on "Mercedes Euro Trip Computer Instructions - English"

It's interesting that the gauge face is still in German. Has anyone seen an English face gauge?

Wow. two positive messages on the same day and BOTH from Lucky Mike. Many thanks and I will study the instructions, which seem to me about as complicated as those in German, but the photo of the dash is mine.:)

Yes to that and his many other contributions. On this "Reisechner" question, as I have mentioned before, I am a computer doofus. The English manual will enlighten me as to its capabilities, although I do not expect it to see much use.

I'm very envious of your trip computer. I think that is such a cool option. Would love to hear if you figure it out and how you like it if you decide to use it.

Magic. Nice. identical to my dash.
Lucky. Printing out now. Will give it a try and let you know.

Still wish the left side of the screen showed location. Know you two are in California. You can add it to your signature.

Stewpot, I tried editing my profile. It already says I'm in Norcal but I can't see how to make that show up on my posts. Do you know how?

I was able to add location, model and a small photo to signature line. not perfect, but it helps. Now I'm darned if I can remember where I went to do it. sorry. Cricket are you watching?

I figured it out. It's in your own account settings, then signature.

As you asked (post 13 above), I gave the computer a try and it turns out the thing is not working. I see from other threads on this that apparently many do go bad. That, the complexity of the instructions even in English, and the fact that I have never used it in 20 years leads me to think I'll just leave it as an adornment to the dash panel.:)
