The owners manual states that the transmission on a 1995 S600 should be serived at 60,000 miles. If the fluid is clean- is this necessary ? Does this 4 speed automatic have a screen and magnet like an american transmission ? In addition- is the pan equipped with a drain plug for easy service ? I have routinely seen over 200K on 700 R4 transmissions(chevy trans) without changing the fluid if it is clean
