ok, wait, '5730 has two vacuums, if your car only uses 1, you cap off the other w/ Cap A0009871145. it replaced 5230 which had one vacuum, and that replaced 3930 which had none.

that vacuum is only used to retard upshifts when the engine is cold, so it heats up faster, so the catalytic converter works sooner. IMHO, its perfectly OK to cap off the vacuum line and forget it entirely and use the no-vacuum version.

In the above, I meant, A1243005730 replaced '5230 which had one vacuum, and that replaced 3930 which had none.

If your car uses one or no vacuum ports, you cap off the extra vacuum ports on the new version
