The best you could hope for is them R&R - ing the box and sending it to a good rebuild shop. Sadly, due to economies of scale, it's almost always significantly more expensive to have your box rebuilt than to buy a rebuilt one. Wasn't that acarter who got one recently for like $2,700? You'll like his new toy.I agree with Greg - drive it carefully to a well recommended transmission specialist or Indy shop that know Mercedes. You can always try a dealer, but be prepared for them to try and sell you a new, or factory re-built, transmission. How about the mileage and tranny service history?
