I drive a 1996 S320 with about 126k miles. I'm finally replacing the original engine mounts, transmission mount, radiator, fan clutch, shocks, etc with some new ones, as well as the flex disc. (let me know if i should change any other necessary parts)

First question, is this the correct transmission mount for my car (#140-240-09-18)? I notice many W140 owners have a silver one but I checked mine and it's a black one.

In regards to the flex disc, does the front and rear one have the same flex disc..or is it different? I checked every website like FCP Euro, Auto Haus, etc and it seems like they both use the same part. Does anyone know the part number for it? All I found was #170-410-00-15.

Also, is it recommended that the driveshaft center support or rubber boot needs replacing? Looking at other forums, it seems like it's very labor intensive and I'm trying to save money.

Thanks for taking your time to read all this much appreciated,
Teeeem

Bonus question, what differential oil do you guys recommend in terms of brand (Liqui-Moly, Mobile One, etc)?
Also, what engine oil weight would you recommend for hot desert Southern California weathers?
I've been using Liqui-Moly 5W-40 but my indie mechanic told me I should get a heavier weight.

It looks like you have the older 4 speed transmission (722.3) ? 722.6 which is 5 speed uses the silver style one.
I would go the extra mile and install the center support bearing while you're there .. 1 or 2 hours extra with the right tools.
I did this job a month ago without a lift. I hope you have a lift.

Oil: Full synthetic, at least 10W-40 or 15W-50 in a desert climate. "High mileage" oil has more zinc for better lubrication of cams and followers. I use Mobil 1, but any good brand will do. 5k to 6k mile change intervals, w/filter. These are not close tolerance modern engines that can use thinner oils.

Differential oil: Full synthetic 75W-90. I use Mobil 1.

Transmission fluid: Valvoline Max Life Multi Vehicle ATF Synthetic. That's what our resident transmission guru, MAVA, recommends. Change with filter every 30k or so.

Coolant: Zerex G05 or Mercedes. 40% antifreeze, 60% DISTILLED water for your climate.

The 6-bangers used a 5-speed autobox, but an old style. 4 mechanically controlled gears and a 5th (overdrive) controlled electronically.

Best way to verify which parts you need is to check in EPC with your VIN
What is EPC? And do you know where I can verify whether my car is 722.3 or above? The car sticker tag says that my car has a Atuo 5-spd auto transmission

EPC = Electronic Parts Catalog.
You have 722.5. It is not "above" 722.3, same bones, just 4+1 speed with the overdrive being electronic. Google it.
Ah, alright thanks! I just found out my car uses 722.508 transmission

The 6-bangers had a 3.45:1 differential, while the V12s had 2.65:1.

To make cruising speed (60-70 mph) for the former a bit more pleasant, MB added the overdrive gear (modified the box externally, the innards are mostly identical across the board). The attached .pdf is a good primer on 722.5.
